Come rain or fair weather, the 2012 Summer Paralympics were off to a brilliant start with the official opening ceremonies.
"Prepare to be inspired, prepare to be dazzled, prepare to be moved." former British Olympian and politician Sebastien Coe told the spectating crowd of 80,000 at Olympic Park.
