The following are my opinions and beliefs on some hot-topic issues in the news today. Keep in mind that these are in no way associated with the views held by Wikinews or the Wikimedia Foundation, and I take full credit and responsibility for what is posted here.
I stole this idea from MrMiscellanious, however I like the idea of posting these, its a way to vent your opinions so they don't make it into articles, and wikinews can stay NPOV.
My Beliefs/Opinions edit
Religion edit
- I am a strong believer in non-demomination Christian worship. The only religious book I follow is Bible.
Abortion edit
- Well i feel the same as i feel about murder, afterall its the same thing.
Flag Burning edit
- Need I say is disrespecful to that county, and its citizens?
Firearms edit
- The scond Ammendment states that we have the right to bare arms. But it needs to be contolled.
Stem-cell research edit
- Well the way they do it noew i disagree with, if they fund a humane way to do this, it would be a gread advancement to medicine.
Homosexual relationships edit
- "God created woman to be as a companion for man" and i belive that but i still respect those who don't feel that way, i may disagree, but am not homophobic..
Homosexuality and marriage edit
- Marragie is not legal, it has some legal rights attached to it, but i think its more of a institution by god, however they should still be able to get the legal rights married couples do, afterall they deseveve such s us citizens.
Separation of Church and state edit
- Simply put, it dosen't exist, its not in the bible or constitution, the idea was submitted in a letter to jefferson but he didn't like the idea so its not in the constitution.
Terrorism edit
- Need I say that i disagree with mass killing for any reason, especially just to prove a point!
War on Iraq edit
- I supporrted the war on iraq since it started and still do, getting Saddamm out of power did alot for not hjust Iraq but also the world, and we need to stay their untill their government is up and the Iraqi police can handle themselves.
Extraterrestrial activity edit
- I do agree that "Area 51" exists but i belive it to puly be a site for testing millitary aircrafts in development.
