User:Redmondian/Vista Delayed, Ballmer Dead?

Is Ballmer's head finnally on the chopping block? Well for most of us computer users, probably, but should we really get excited? Will long-time friend and colleague of Microsoft Corporation finally get the boot?

Steve Ballmer, Chief Executive Officer of Microsoft Corp. since 1999, has been blamed for many 'hiccups' at the software giant's headquarters in Redmond. The senior officer has been blamed by beta testers and Microsoft developers alike, for the delay in Windows XP's successor, Windows Vista, formerly code-named 'Longhorn'. Yet Harvard companion, Bill Gates, founder of Microsoft Corp. claimed the delay was due to the iron-proofing against malicious software such as viruses, Trojans, worms and spyware.

Although his reign at Microsoft has been long-lived, maybe if enough scrutiny is publicised for Ballmer's mistakes, he might finally get the boot. What a world that would be!
