This is a documentation subpage for User:Pi zero/Archives/search (see that page for the user template itself).
It contains usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original user template page.

Usage edit

This template provides the search area of User:Pi zero/Archives. It has three parts:

a set of input controls, provided by {{User:Pi zero/Archives/search/top-controls}};
a DPL, not initially displayed, provided by {{User:Pi zero/Archives/search/dpl}}; and
a hidden {{dialog/textarea}} containing the categories-tree parameter, which is read and written by most sections of the page; cf. User talk:Pi zero/Archives.
