• In Category:Files with no machine-readable license there are 1,393 files. But many have {{printedition}} that mention {{Cc-by-2.5}}.

In May 2024 the numbers are:

• There are 2,065 files in Category:Non-free media and around 2,950 files in Category:Media files by license.
• In Category:Files with no machine-readable license there are 208 files. But many mention fair use without a proper license template and rationale.
