Magician and author, Aldo Colombini, died Wednesday morning, following a stroke on Sunday, according to his wife, Rachel Wild-Colombini. Know mostly for his comedic performances, Colombini performed extensively across the US and Europe for several decades. He created dozens of magic tricks and authored several books and instructional articles during his life. He wrote a column for The Linking Ring magazine during the late 1990's.

By Thursday, over 100 people had expressed sadness over his death via his Facebook page and many others also expressed their condolences to his wife. Comments from many other professional entertainers were also found on various magic-related sites and discussion forums. Colombini was a regular performer at the famed Magic Castle in California for many years.
