I wonder, as a non-Australian, to what extent Remembrance Day is actually observed considering how popular Anzac Day seems to be, when, while technically for different occasions, both have become de-facto days of remembrance and memorial for those lost in World War I, and to that end every war.

ANZAC Day is a public holiday here, so it probably is observed to a greater degree, but Remembrance Day is fairly widely observed. A minute of silence is a common occurence from experience.
