What do people think of changing this template to:
Welcome to the Wikinews {} section. A complete list of articles is avalible, , or by date. For more information about writing and editing see Wikinews:Workspace. refresh for latest articles.
Which produces this:

Welcome to the Wikinews {} section. A complete list of articles is avalible, alphabetically, or by date. For more information about writing and editing see Wikinews:Workspace. Refresh for latest articles.

The date subpage would be . I have set this up on the google category so you can see. Google is not a very popular cat so it shouldn't disrupt anything if this is a bad idea. note you have to put a <div id="cat"/ > at the bottom of categories this is used on.

Any comments on this proposal is appreciated.

note this still has a few bugs to work out. Bawolff 01:40, 24 September 2005 (UTC)Reply
I Think i fixed them.
One major issue with this concept is that DPL is limited in the number of articles it may find. I believe the current maximum number of articles returned is 50. There are a number of reasons for this, including not overloading the server with massive searches. (for example, what happens if someone adds this template to Category:Published?) - Amgine / talk 02:28, 18 October 2005 (UTC)Reply
