Usage edit
Typically used indirectly, through {{Wikinews essay}} which delegates to here if the page is not in userspace. Essays of personal opinion should be in userspace; community essays should conservatively reflect community best practice.
Usually this is a hatnote, though sometimes placed further down on the page when a hatnote would interfere with the page content.
Optional parameter nocat if non-blank prevents categorizing the page in Category:Wikinews community essays.
