Template:Single source
This article is based on a single source. Using multiple independent sources is required for synthesis articles, as they help independently confirm the news events, bring a wider diversity of reports into the article (serving NPOV), and avoid problems of copyright infringement. Exceptions may be possible for original reporting. Please help improve this article. |

Usage
- Please consider using {{Tasks}} instead.
This template should be used where an article has been created with a single source, and a reasonable time with no edits has passed to indicate this is unlikely to change. It should be added immediately to any article submitted for {{review}} with a single source.
An optional parameter may be specified when placing this template on an article page. Please fill this in where appropriate - such as a reaction to the noted point below.
Note:
It is possible for an article with more than one source specified to qualify for labeling with this template. This would be where two independent websites have been used that published the same report; this is common with AP and AFP stories.
