Help and adviceArticle How-toFor Wikipedians

Thanks for starting a new article! Some things to consider:

  • Follow the neutral point of view policy.
  • Cite your sources, there is a link to add the {{source}} template at the cursor position below the edit box.
  • When linking to Wikipedia, please use {{W|page name|display text}} or {{W|page name}} (if it's the same as display text).
  • If you include original reporting, put {{original}} below text and leave reporter's notes on the discussion page about original reporting involved.
  • Add {{review}} when you feel the article is ready. Once reviewed, your article will be published. Until then, it's in stories in development where others may work on it; you are recommended to try and do this yourself.
  • Please don't submit copyrighted work (such as copy-and-pastes of sections of articles) – this includes most websites, even if you cannot see a copyright notice.
