Template:Convertnamespace/doc

This is a documentation subpage for Template:Convertnamespace (see that page for the template itself).
It contains usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page.

This template takes a page name as its only parameter, and outputs the namespace ID associated with it, similar to the magic word {{NAMESPACE}}, that outputs the namespace name.
