Talk:World reacts to execution of Saddam Hussein

Latest comment: 17 years ago by 11:57, 3 January 2007 (UTC) I would encourage to mention the fact that many countries object to the hanging of Hussein because his trial never was completed: he was hung to death for the killing of 148 civilians, but was never convicted for the killing of tenthousands Curds, as well as thousands of opponents in Iraq (Neue Zürcher Zeitung, Dec 3). This circumstance will undoubtedly change the way politics will be done in Iraq. Current reactions in news papers suggest that more people are upset about this than the question of whether or not death penalty is right.Reply
