I think a list of States and the a color dipiction would be helpful. In addition, I spoke with my dad who has hives that are imported from Russia. He says that some bee keepers in Russia and the US breed the stronger hives and just let the weaker hives die. The hives that are dieing may be genetically incapable of fighting off disease, mites, or fungus for this reason. --Mnoon 01:39, 4 May 2007 (UTC)
