Sorry. I went to change the title but you'd beat me to it. Try adding {{under review}} (I usually forget to) Blood Red Sandman (Talk) (Contribs) 17:59, 13 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Drink Driving?

edit

Is drink driving British English? I'm not sure i have heard of it here in the US...usually called Drunk Driving. Dillard421 (talk) 18:54, 13 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Yes, drunk driving sounds slightly strange to me, and I'm in the UK. Drunken driving would sound okay, although that isn't a term in common use anywhere as far as I know. I suspect it came from 'drinking and driving'. Blood Red Sandman (Talk) (Contribs) 19:01, 13 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
Drunken Driving sounds okay to me as well...Drink Driving sounds really strange to me. HA! Cultural Differences. On the English Wikipedia Drink Driving reverts to Driving under the influence. Dillard421 (talk) 22:14, 13 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
Yet, if you check the article, she was not convicted of driving under the influence. --Brian McNeil / talk 22:17, 13 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
No. 'Drink driving' is not the name of an offence. The titled says 'of killing by' so it was clearly going to be a 'death by...' charge. Blood Red Sandman (Talk) (Contribs) 22:21, 13 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
