Winmx was great place...... if not for downloading then for talking to friends in a fast,easy to use chat! I'm sure many agree also.

There is a serious error in the original article, operated no central server on their domain, the network was and remained a decentralised network formed only by its users thus no files where ever on the companies web prescence to be downloaded or filtered.
