Here is a list of my questions:

I was reading this article (http://starbeacon.com/obitcorrection/x343696723/In-the-2008-presidential-campaign-it-was-Joe-the-Plumber-In-2012-it-s-going-to-be-Joe-the-Painter), and it says that you're "a former print journalist and addictions counselor who switched to house painting when he felt guided to run for president." Why did you feel guided to run for president?

When you announced your candidacy following the 2008 election, you remarked that this would be your final run. Why did you make that decision, and why did you announce your candidacy so early in the electoral process?

Back in 2000, Steve Chawkins with Ventura County News, wrote to you "You won't win, you won't be president." Why do you believe you lost that particular election as well as the 2004 and 2008 elections? What have you done differently during this run?

In some sources it says you are running for the Green Party nomination, while in others it says you are running as an Independent. Let's clear this up, are you running for any particular party's nomination, or as an Independent?

How large is your campaign?

Has your campaign received any notable endorsements?

Describe to me an average day in the life of Joe Schriner. How do you spend your time?

If you had complete power at this moment, what would you do? How would you change America?

When you say "we are left of the Green Party,” (http://starbeacon.com/obitcorrection/x343696723/In-the-2008-presidential-campaign-it-was-Joe-the-Plumber-In-2012-it-s-going-to-be-Joe-the-Painter), does that mean you view yourself as a socialist?

As a former addictions counselor, would you like to see some prohibitions on the sale of alcohol? Would you consider yourself a member of the temperance movement?

Your Pro-Life stand seems to be a big issue in your campaign. What are your thoughts on Scott Roeder, who assassinated George Tiller? Was this action justified? How far are you willing to go to end abortion?

What are your thoughts on President Obama?

What are your thoughts on the Tea Party movement?

Which historical figure do you most identify with and why?

Could you take this test (http://www.theadvocates.org/quizp/index.html), and let us know where you stand on the political spectrum?

Anything else you want to add?

Also, this is not part of the interview, but we'd like to know if you have a photo that we could use for this interview page and your page on wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joe_Schriner)?

Thank you, it is greatly appreciated,

Mr. Saturn... Is this for a short, say, 20-inch story? Or is it going to be a longer, more in-depth type of piece? I'm trying to gauge how much time to spend with the answers. Thanks. Joe Schriner

Mr. Saturn... Attached are my answers to your questions. If you need anything else clarification wise, etc., let me know. (I'm hoping I got the links right as well.)

Also, you had asked about pictures. You are welcome to take some off our site, if that will work. For me: http://www.voteforjoe.com/news/news_ohio.html (While this appeared in Ohio Magazine, it was a picture I contributed, so it can be used). *Or, for more of a "Joe the painter" look: http://www.voteforjoe.com/aboutjoe.html (lower left picture in painting attire. This picture would need attribution. Or the top picture on that page could be used as well, with attribution as well.) Or, for 'Joe the boxer' http://www.voteforjoe.com/essays/boxing.htm (photo by Stephen Piscura) Or if you want some of the family: http://www.voteforjoe.com/road/ohiotour2008.htm with attribution; or, http://www.voteforjoe.com/family.html -- at top of the page.
If you choose to go with either of Shaun Heasley's photos, I can e-mail better quality ones to you, if you need.
If you would, let me know that you got this.
    my best, Joe Schriner

Mr. Saturn... Sorry it's taken a couple days to get back to you. We're on the road campaigning, and its the first time I've had a chance to get to a computer. As for my answers on the test: top: M, A, M, D, A bottom: M, D, A, M, A ; Also, for the picture: http://www.voteforjoe.com/news/news_ohio.html Fell free to use the picture from the top of this page. (It's owned by our campaign.) I don't have access to a scanner where I'm at, and I was hoping you could just transfer the picture from there. If you can't, let me know (419-792-9059). We just had a photogropher take some more pictures of us, and he may be able to e-mail it to you. Joe Schriner Ps... If you want to use a family shot, go to http://www.voteforjoe.com/family.html and use the picture at the top. (Calvin Kimbrough can be cropped out of the bottom.) He donated the picture to the campaign and no attribution is necessary.
