Talk:Wendy's sales down in Northern California

Reporter's notes

edit

The only original reporting so far is the new photograph, taken at the location of the original story.

I'm about to head out the door and see if there's much traffic at their drive-thru window. — DV 06:32, 27 Mar 2005 (UTC)

I'm also not sure whether it is acceptable to ask a customer about their food choice, even after they have left the private property of the restaurant.
If the customer doesn't know about the incident, they might be really grossed out, which would be unfair if they were hungry and just trying to get through their lunch or dinner hour in peace. I'll think about this some more. — DV 08:07, 27 Mar 2005 (UTC)

It's Not The Finger

edit

The real problem with Wendy's is not the finger. It's crappy management, starting from the CEO who is a jerk, the CFO who is jointed at the hip and other body parts to the CEO. Did I mention the fact the CEO has surrounded himself with a bunch of overpriced Executive Officers (12 in all) that look like the bar scene from the original Star Wars movie? Take a look at the Annual Report) He has a obnoxious management style, and has turned all of the EVP's into "yes men & women" and has personally directed the last failed building upgrades, the last three failed menu offerings, and soon to be failed "new breakfast".

Ask any of the half dozen executives that got forced out because they spoke their mind.

This is a company that is on a downward spiral, and won't turn around till the get rid od the "Jack" ass.
