NPOV?? edit

Neutralizer, can you explain why this edit is NPOV? Just curious. Jason Safoutin 13:14, 16 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hi,Jason, since we put in the article the USA's perspective on the news event, we should also put in the counter perspective, Cuban perspective is typically the reverse of America's, I think. I suppose we could remove both but I think it makes a better read like it is? Neutralizer 13:23, 16 March 2006 (UTC)Reply
IMO if we remove the so-called US POV then we must remove Cuba';s and any other county's POV. By adding the US, Cuba and any other country, it demonstrates NPOV...removing the "US POV" as you put it, simulates, IMO, a NON-NPOV stance. Jason Safoutin 13:31, 16 March 2006 (UTC)Reply
As both POV (Cuba and USA) are clearly writen down into the UN press release... it's ok Jacques Divol

Stupid question edit

If the U.S. voted against, why does that not count as a veto? -- 129.21.37.23 13:53, 16 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

It's General Assembly vote, not Security Council vote where USA against vote is a veto. Not the same thingJacques Divol 14:15, 16 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

I disagree: there are stupid questions. This, however, is not one. 134.114.59.41 05:30, 17 March 2006 (UTC)Reply
