Talk:US warns Pakistan to stop press intimidation
Single source
editThe Mainstream media is, in many ways, a shell game. Dozens of seemingly independent sources will all be cribbing from AP and other wire services. Or, they may be sister companies to each other, freely sharing reportage.
Wikinews should be extremely cautious where two sources have uncannily similar text, such as is the case here. One can only assume there is some sharing going on. This is how patent nonsense reverberates through the mainstream media, and is why the single source policy exists. --Brian McNeil / talk 06:51, 13 August 2010 (UTC)
