Country edit

There needs to be some sort of indication which country this thing is about.

I just edited it to specify the US in the first sentence. Good to submit for review? The Irate Communist (talk) 03:07, 24 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
In the title. "Trump administration" does not make sense outside the US. And tbh, I have no clue what the headline is trying to say. Write from the perspective of the global audience.

Oh sorry my bad, that was never meant to be the actual title. The Irate Communist (talk) 03:13, 24 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
How's the current title? --The Irate Communist (talk) 03:18, 24 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Defeat edit

I'm dubious of the assertion that Biden defeated Trump on November 3. (We don't abbreviate months, btw.) The elaborate, multi-step process, and the nitpicking being engaged in, seem to call for a more precise or at least more cautious description of what happened. --Pi zero (talk) 03:27, 24 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

How is "following the 2020 US Presidential Election on November 3, which former US Vice President Joe Biden is projected to have won against incumbent US President Donald Trump."? --The Irate Communist (talk) 03:32, 24 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
That's closer. One or two words on who did the projecting would be appropriate. --Pi zero (talk) 03:36, 24 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
Let me know if my latest edit will work --The Irate Communist (talk) 03:44, 24 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
"all" seems problematic; a tweak of some sort is wanted. What did we say in the earlier article? --Pi zero (talk) 03:56, 24 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Peaceful transfer of power edit

If I were reviewing this now (which I'm not; I do need to sleep), a particular point I would be weighing carefully, as I study this article and the sources, is exactly what this process actually does; I've gotten the impression it's not actually a process of transferring power, but rather a process of preparing to do so in case a transfer of power takes place. --Pi zero (talk) 04:58, 24 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Oooh alright. I'm realizing "transfer of power" specifically refers to the Presidential inauguration, that helps. The Irate Communist (talk) 05:07, 24 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
Working on this now. --The Irate Communist (talk) 02:39, 25 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

God bless........ edit

.....all the yammering about this article, but: an action needs to be taken on it publishing-wise. Annoyingly, I don't have the time right now to do that myself. --Bddpaux (talk) 19:24, 25 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

It seems like User:Pi zero is on it. --The Irate Communist (talk) 19:35, 25 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Another update: a Trump lawyer plans challenging the certification edit

According to the CNBC article, a Trump lawyer announces plans to use whatever it takes, like long and complicated process, to challenge the certification and to ask the General Assembly to select electors before the December 14 Electoral College. If the newer info goes on top, then the article must be somewhat rewritten to reflect the info. --George Ho (talk) 21:32, 25 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

I'm not really seeing why one more legal challenge would significantly impact this article. --Pi zero (talk) 23:54, 25 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
