What is most missing from the article is direct witness testimonies from people in Iran who are families/friends/onlookers of the people killed and injured in the bombings. Iran is not North Korea: there are 7.5 million people in Iran with the internet. The information is most likely available on the internet IMHO, but it requires getting through the language barrier and communication work - the farsi wikipedia embassy would be a place to try if someone has time (maybe for future reports)... People witnessing the bombings probably have info as to whether they thinking the bombings were done by US trained "ex-MEK" or by the Iranian government or by whoever and have probably published stuff, maybe a mix of direct testimony and speculation... Anyway, just reminding people that not only the alleged perpetrators of a crime have POVs - the victims and their families/friends/colleagues also have POVs worth reporting as well...Boud 11:58, 18 April 2006 (UTC)

I have no direct involvement with the incidents in the South, but having an Iranian father and spending enough time around Iranians, I know that their general opinion is that US is fighting proxy wars in Iran (and I believe also Iran is just as bad, doing the reverse in Iraq). Alot of Iranians are also of the opinion that were Ayatollahs ever to get Nuclear weapons they would use them (I even heard the theory that they already have them and are simply trying to drive up the confrontation for a patriotic war). Although to be honest most people aren't actually worried by the threat of a US led war/attack as they see it as unlikely (nationalism and pride). U.S. support for the Iranian "Resistance"

This news article may be one of the first to illuminate how the USA prepares the world for the upcoming attack on Iran (likely by Israel as it would seem more "defensive" in nature). It would be good to have an info box for the various propaganda and strategic movements that are being made to pave the way for another pre-emptive attack on a sovereign nation.

There is this paradox in Google's "advanced" search for these "exact phrase" comparisons;

• "Iranian insurgency" ..... 202 references

• "Iranian resistance" ..... 78,700 references

Notice the enormous disparity between the use of the words resistance and insurgency when it comes to Iran.

Obviously, the word "resistance" is used to invoke sympathy or allegiance with the "resistance"(ala French Resistance in WW2) and the word "insurgency" is used to invoke hostile feelings toward the "insurgents".

Notice the enormous amount of stuff being put on the internet about an Iranian Resistance and much of it is being put on by US Gov. and military think tanks. I think the Psyops activities to put people on the side of the Iranian "resistance" is now at warp speed. Neutralizer 12:15, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
