Talk:US Homeland Security raises transit terror alert

I am of the opinion that when a government raises its "terror-level", the independent press shouldn't just write an article because it's convenient to pass along a press-release as news. The only real news in this type of article is that public sceurity will heighten its activities. So longer shifts or different activities could (I stress could) be newsworthy. They deserve mention in the context of an article about the attacks. Making them separate articles gives the impression that whenever the government does something and wants it publicised, it's news.
