Confusing sentence

"... while several people rushed over from the table and took him from the room. Shortly after, Gen. Petraeus regained consciousness and walked from the hearing room under his own power."

This sentence reads that the several people took him from the room before he left the room under his own power. While he was assisted (tended to by his aides) he left the room under his own power and was not "taken" from the room Turtlestack (talk) 21:14, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
