I have e-mailed, and received a reply from 'Cardiff University Socialist Students', who recently sent us a press release. The conversation was cc'd to scoop. I have also e-mailed, with no reply (yet), the press contact for National Campaign Against Fees and Cuts (press release), with pretty much the same questions, again cc'd to scoop. I'd like to request that people help e-mail various student bodies that might be staging walk-outs, etcetera.

It would appear that these demonstrations are not centrally controlled -- with the possible exception of London, where a protest has been planned for 10am in Trafalgar Square. A few other places have Facebook groups (Indymedia link). I'm planning on e-mailing a few of these creators; my plan being to have a UK-wide "this is what happened today" round-up. As such, I'd love to have some help come Wednesday: any volunteers? — μ 14:31, November 21 2010 (UTC)

I've also e-mailed Manchester with a near-duplicate, again cc'd to scoop, as they have an e-mail posted on their website. — μ 14:47, November 21 2010 (UTC)
...and I've replied to Cardiff, with a request for CC pictures. — μ 15:25, November 21 2010 (UTC)

The Facebook quote is from somewhere on this event page. It's not attributed as I copied it to clipboard and then could not find it again... — μ 16:25, November 21 2010 (UTC)
E-mailed the PR department of Cardiff Uni; Brian helpfully phoned them too (thanks!). — μ 10:42, November 23 2010 (UTC)
E-mail from Cardiff Uni received; forwarded to scoop — μ 15:11, November 23 2010 (UTC)
An e-mail will automagically sent to Cardiff Uni Socialist Students today at 1400UTC, the time that their protest finishes, requesting a statement as to what happened, and a plea for CC-BY images. — μ 09:43, November 24 2010 (UTC)
Images received via a user in IRC, ambiguous licencing though -- uploaded to Commons as "copyright holder allows redistribution". Got a delightful 18pt-type press release from anticuts.com, who, incidentally, replied to my e-mail from earlier with a standard boilerplate press release. E-mailed South Bank Uni yesterday, I think the press people went and asked the vice-chancellor on my behalf for a statement(!). — μ 18:22, November 24 2010 (UTC)
