Fell? edit

"A fell running event..." What does that mean? I'm confused. —Calebrw (talk) 21:07, 25 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

From Wikipedia, Fell: "Fell (from the Old Norse fjall, 'mountain') is a word used to refer to mountains, or certain types of mountainous landscape, in Scandinavia, the Isle of Man, and parts of England.". Basically it's a race run in mountainous terrain. -- Arwel (talk) 22:58, 25 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
Thanks. I added to the article to avoid similar confusion. —Calebrw (talk) 03:49, 26 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

First edit on Wikinews edit

Hi, I added some extra comments and links that referenced the experience of participants not just the media comments. First time I have added to Wikinews so hope its OK! johnellis (talk)

hi there. firstly welcome to wikinews :) unfortunately though, due to the nature of news and wikinews article edits are not accepted after 24hrs of the article first being published, and therefore the edit that you completed recently has now been removed. if you are willing and have enough content then please do feel free to create a new article as a follow up to this one. regards --MarkTalk to me 21:05, 28 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
I apologize actually. I didn't welcome the new user and didn't explain why I reverted. Entirely my fault. DragonFire1024 (Talk to the Dragon) 21:09, 28 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
