I had trouble with the passage with the quote from the phone call (as can be observed in the edit history). As submitted, the passage was strongly biasing toward the Telegraph's interpretation (it's not only relevant that the preceding sentence is about the doorstepping, but also that it uses the expression "flag up"). We're looking to present readers with enough information to make their own judgments, and a bit more context seemed to me to fulfill this goal nicely.
I wasn't comfortable with the headline and lede presenting it as all about resignation, when the sources scarcely ever use that word at all (about the only instance being the bit about Labour not asking for). Decided it was tolerable in the headline, though if I'd seen how to eliminate it from the headline without a radical upheaval, I probably would have deployed it.
The reviewed revision should automatically have been edited by removing {{Review}} and adding {{Publish}} at the bottom, and the edit sighted; if this did not happen, it may be done manually by a reviewer.
