Talk:U.S. Senate passes amendment stripping Guantanamo detainees' access to courts

I want to wait for publishing until the amendment shows up in U.S. Senate records so we can quote directly from it, rather than relying on third parties.--Herda05 05:51, 11 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

Please remove all external links (most senators have their own WP article) that are badly placed (such as the senators'), and try not to italicize or bold any text (unless needed to show emphasis, such as showing a quote opposed to article text). --MrMiscellanious (talk) (contribs) 21:31, 11 November 2005 (UTC)Reply
MrMiscellanious why can't we link directly to the Seantors' web sites? Is there a policy I'm not aware of, or is it just something we don't do? Thanks.--Herda05 23:09, 11 November 2005 (UTC)Reply
Just something that really isn't necessary, it's always better to point to an encyclopedia for the nature of these items. --MrMiscellanious (talk) (contribs) 09:19, 12 November 2005 (UTC)Reply
