Develop edit

I am awaiting, hopefully, a statement from the Erie County Health Commissioner and KFC in a bid to get OR for this since WIVB is the only available source. DragonFire1024 04:20, 10 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

I am also going to get some pictures of the restaurant on Elmwood tomorrow. DragonFire1024 04:21, 10 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

title edit

Maybe it would be better to have a title that discloses more of your suspicions to the actual reason. I came here expecting an article on new interior... Also as an international reader, I dislike the abbreviation KFC. May I suggest "Two Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurants close in Buffalo, NY"?--Steven Fruitsmaak (Reply) 17:43, 10 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Sure :) But as no one at the health department has written me back, not expecting them to, I am not sure how to proceed. DragonFire1024 18:20, 10 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

More sources? Publish? edit

Since its, at this point, likely that I will NOT get a response from the Erie County Health Dept., I want opinions on the article and whether or not it should get published. DragonFire1024 04:30, 11 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

this is newsworthy? edit

How is this story important enough to be included on Wikinews front page? -Fendersmasher 18:42, 11 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

All published stories appear on the front page - it's the way Wikinews works. However, I would agree in the idea that it isn't of global interest and as such should not be a featured story. --Skenmy(tcwi) 18:44, 11 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
Well, it is more notable than most local stories because of the rat videos' popularity, after all. B0at 11:27, 12 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
If so, perhaps they deserve a one- or two-sentence mention? I know nothing about them or the subject. --BlackTerror 14:40, 12 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
