Talk:Turkish newspaper alleges cover-up in Hrant Dink case

Latest comment: 16 years ago by Doldrums in topic attribution

I have requested a little help with this from a Wikipedia user since I don't know Turkish and can't check the sources. There are, as you'll see there two issues:

  1. The article cannot substantially be a literal translation of what Radikal published - that's an effective derivative work/copyvio.
  2. Since I can't read Turkish I can't check all the little details, and this article has quite a lot of details.

The two above points combined mean that it may be best to try and condense this article somewhat. A list of times of phone calls on one day can be "a series of three calls after ??:00 on Month dd". --Brian McNeil / talk 09:00, 11 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Phone number edit

If this phone number is, or at some point in the future goes back to being, in service then we probably shouldn't list it. Thoughts? --Brian McNeil / talk 09:02, 11 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

attribution edit

i can't help with this as i do not know Turkish, but all otherwise unsubstantiated claims made by Radical or any other source shld be attributed to the claimant. Yasin Hayal is named in tha article as the "other planner and instigator of the Dink's killing". shldn't there be an "alleged" added to this statement. it would be great if English language sources can be added substantiating some, if not all, of the contents of this article. –Doldrums(talk) 09:03, 11 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
