Source the numbers

You need to back up these numbers. I've no doubt that tens of thousands turned out globally, but I can't find any numbers in the sources except for CNN claiming 2,000 turned out in DC.

I got home a couple of hours ago from the protest, and can guarentee you that AT LEAST 100,000 people were there. There was an announcement at 2:30 claiming that the number was as high as 250,000. 68.236.35.67 00:52, 25 September 2005 (UTC)

Were any other cities involved? Because I know Salt Lake City had a small/moderate rally along the same lines.

Primarily, we were marching not only to end the war in Iraq, which, consequently, has nothing to do with the "war on terror," but also calling for the impeachment of mr. bush. There were a hell of a lot of other causes trumpted by the speakers... from anti-Israel speakers, to Filipino activists, to just plain old run of the mill faux-communists. In fact, many of the speakers said little of interest regarding the Iraq war other than to use it as rhetoric -- stringing together as many stupid sounding aliterations as they could. But sure, it was about Iraq or something. None of the people behind the rally and who they are backed up by will ever get reported because the MSM knows it will look bad when the average person finds out that half the speakers think the jooos flew the planes into the WTC. So instead of getting an interesting article here, we get the same breathless mush that the standard new sources peddle. Notice something very basic about the majority of articles on 'anti-war' protests: They never discuss the actual content of the rallies. They never repeat anything more than empty slogans. Ever. Why should I suspect wikinews of being any different?
