Is there a source for the paragraph about bomb blasts and injuries?

See Related news April 2, if you need a source on this article I'll get one in a couple of hours when I finish work. --Brian McNeil / talk 14:18, 4 April 2006 (UTC)Reply
Thanks. I copied the source to this article.

I think the "Brewster's Millions" reference is only slightly amusing, and add little to the article. --80.172.138.170 14:04, 4 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

The explanation
"(Thai Rak Thai means, literally, "Thais Love Thais"[1].)"
was removed by a subsequent edit. However, it served a valuable purpose. Only a small fraction of English-speaking readers will know the significance of the name Thai Rak Thai, and few of the others will bother to follow the link to the Wikipedia article given earlier in the article. That Wikipedia page is principally about the party, not just about the name. In distinction, the explanation which was removed linked to the Talk page, a major portion of which is devoted to the meaning of the name.
Because the meaning of the name is a significant clue to the nature of the party and to the overall national political context in Thailand, the explanation was a helpful addition and did not deserve to be removed.

Thai Rak Thai is a populist party, so I'd agree that the definition is useful, although I might introduce it otherwise. Please work on the new Thaksin resignation article in development, there is a *lot* of background material to go through. --Brian McNeil / talk 17:52, 4 April 2006 (UTC)Reply
