Talk:Tabletop fusion may lead to neutron source

I belive that this is the Nature Article in which the findings were first published, as a result of this letter from the scientists in question.
If this is the UCLA experiment, they have already said it's too inefficient for use as an energy source.
This is the original article according to http://www.nature.com/news/2005/050425/full/050425-3.html: Naranjo, B., Gimzewski, J. & Putterman, S. Nature 434, 1115−1117 (2005); doi:10.1038/nature03575 |
- Actually this is the original article: http://www.nature.com/nature/journal/v434/n7037/abs/nature03575.html Dan100 (Talk) 22:01, 30 Apr 2005 (UTC)
What happened to the usefulness with subcritical fission reactors, and the source cited for that? Not to mention that censoring the first title has made the headline false - it won't lead to a neutron source, it IS a neutron source.
- It went because it was original research - none of the sources concerned with the news story at hand mention that application. Dan100 (Talk) 09:14, 1 May 2005 (UTC)
