I've had to submit this story half-finished. Due to my real life commitments, and the impending need for someone to write a story on the Proposition 8/DOMA cases, this story is incomplete. I would ideally have liked to include a few paragraphs on Francis' statements regarding the allegations that SDS officers had romantic and sexual relations with female activists. That story boggles the imagination in its implications. It was to form the second half of this story, but I haven't had time to collect together sources and write it. If I were to delay the publication of the Lawrence half of the story, by the time I completed the story of the women's allegations, it would cease to be within the timescales that we consider newsworthy. There is not much I can do about this, and it is a shame, so I thought I'd note as much on this talk page for future reference. —Tom Morris (talk) 18:02, 26 June 2013 (UTC)
