Section Bars

edit

Do we really need section dividers? Jason Safoutin 02:14, 5 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

well it does break up the text nicely. They get used on plenty of the other articles so I assumed it was fine to use them! --Errant 02:44, 5 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Title sounds like the crash was a mistake?

edit

How about something like "Smart-1 probe ends mission with planned crash into Moon"? TRWBW 03:57, 5 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

LOL just read this, sounds like we're on the same wavelength! --Errant 09:18, 5 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Move to Sept 4 or earlier?

edit

I saw this yesterday on CNN Headline News around 3AM so it may even be a Sept 3 story. Do we move the day?

Faulty comparison.

edit

"[...] compared to the gentle touchdown of the first lunar landing 37 years ago it was quite a different event."

This isn't quite correct as the lunar landing referred to here is the Apollo landing in 69 that had humans aboard. The first lunar landing of an unmanned probe was USSR's Luna 2 47 years ago (1959) and it's touchdown was probably similar to Smart-1's. --213.176.148.218 12:04, 5 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Damn :( In my defence that sentence was written at oh... 2 oclock this morning :P I will edit accordingly --Errant 12:29, 5 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
