Advoiding?(Reworked)
edit"Simpson and Lachey began advoiding their troubled marriage to the press in early October 2005."
I'm not sure what that word means. Karen 20:41, 25 November 2005 (UTC)
- Probably avoiding any indication to the press that their marriage was in trouble, I would think. --MrMiscellanious (talk) (contribs) 20:42, 25 November 2005 (UTC)
- I don't think it's really a word. Also, sources don't support the 'advoidance' - the closest reference is from AP: "In the December-January issue of Teen People, which went on newsstands earlier this month, Simpson denied rumors that the marriage was kaput." Karen 20:55, 25 November 2005 (UTC)
Seems to me that "advoiding" is just a misspelling of "avoiding", still not quite the best wording. I think rewording "begain advoiding" (sic) to "denied" would be best. If anyone has any better ideas, give it a shot. Karen 21:00, 25 November 2005 (UTC)
- The rewording as of 22:52, 25 November 2005 did wonders for the clarity of this article - Good work, whoever did it!
