Talk:Several hundred killed after stampede in Baghdad

CNN is really rubbish, isn't it? It's hard to keep track of their retractions, there's so many... (See the article's page history if you want to know what I'm referring too!)
Personally, I'd strongly recommend against using CNN as a source for any article. They seem to be extremely unreliabe - they were the source of the "timer fragments" story after the 7/7 bombing,s and they made a right mess of the Athens airliner crash too. Dan100 (Talk) 10:52, August 31, 2005 (UTC)
- I think they at least could have added a notice along the lines of "Early reports that ... were later ..." (at least to "Breaking news"-articles, of course the don't have to include it in a later, proper articles). It sure makes it a bit difficult for others to verify what you're writing. (And really, what's to say I didn't make it all up, now that the claim is nowhere to be seen over att CNN?) -- Woseph 12:29:21, 2005-08-31 (UTC)
This article needs a new title.
- One might try to work in that it was a religious pilgrimage. But I don't see a really good title off the top of my head. Nyarlathotep 15:47, 1 September 2005 (UTC)
