A bit misleading
editThe institute's flagship Allen Telescope Array project was mothballed due to lack of funds however SETI itself, which runs multiple programmes, didn't shut up shop. The first line claims "The SETI Institute, shut down since mid-April due to budget cuts, has announced that it will reopen in mid-September due to a recent influx of funds from several donors." which is incorrect/misleading and not supported by the articles mentioned. It should refer to the ATA shutting down and then reopening. ChiZeroOne (talk) 05:46, 19 August 2011 (UTC)
- Or what about the fact that the only reason they are operating is because the military is using the installation? Nothing in the article about that either for some reason. Viriditas (talk) 04:23, 31 January 2012 (UTC)
