Talk:Romanian skier debuts at 2013 IPC Alpine World Championships

This person was chosen because she comes from a country that has few competitors. It is nice to draw attention to skiers that are not getting any coverage by the IPC or local media. (The Austrians and the Spanish have some media here.)

The article is based on the results page. Just look for ROU and you can see this is the first time a Romanian skier participated. Most of it is drawn from the slalom results page. I can see them warming up for the Super Combined outside my hotel window. It is damned cold outside.
