It's great to see some politicians looking for answers too; since lots of the "people" are. Paulrevere2005 13:29, 22 July 2005 (UTC)
Nice to see that the PATRIOT act is such an invasion of privacy to the public, however the President can't have any... why do people worry about what happened in the past? It's not going to change the future - any. --Mrmiscellanious 14:22, 22 July 2005 (UTC)
- Additionally, I think it's wonderful that the Democrats really claim they are trying to defeat Terrorism, but deny the fact the Iraqi war was a continuation of the War on Terror. They should stop calling for unnecessary inquiries and start supporting the troops and government into making our homeland safer. --Mrmiscellanious 14:29, 22 July 2005 (UTC)
- Also, I think we should remove a link to a highly POV website - or at least include a disclaimer that we are not supporting the travel to such site:
co-founded the AfterDowningStreet.org.

- At issue, I believe, is the Bush administration doctrine of military preeminence. Yeah, it drags the U.S. through issues that some or most would rather not deal with now given the heightened insecuity caused by the 'war on terror's' war on us. But the precedent set by this doctrine is contoversial and subject to an abuse of power, which in my Repulication-as-spit opinion, is why this issue must not go unexamined. -Edbrown05 17:56, 22 July 2005 (UTC)
