Talk:Reform Party of the United States nominates fitness model Andre Barnett for president
Update from Darcy Richardson (original notes)
editDarcy Richardson sent the following to me via e-mail: "I never really liked going to funerals, so I skipped the Philadelphia convention.
"For the record, I pulled out in late July, once it became clear the party wasn't going to qualify for the ballot in Arkansas, New Jersey and a few of the other relatively easy states. At that point, the nomination really wasn't worth fighting for... I wish the Reform Party well — and I may even endorse one of their congressional candidates — but, as far as the presidential contest is concerned, I'll be putting my time and energy behind another minor-party candidate this autumn."
He apparently withdrew from the race in July.--William S. Saturn (talk) 22:50, 14 August 2012 (UTC)
- I didn't read this till after submitting the review; as best I can reconstruct, the review gadget told me there was no talk page to look at because I called it up to start writing my review comments before the above comment was posted. --Pi zero (talk) 23:17, 14 August 2012 (UTC)
- I have forwarded the e-mail to scoop and updated the article.--William S. Saturn (talk) 23:48, 14 August 2012 (UTC)

- The Facebook page was supposed to verify the forum between the candidates. There is a status update from Saturday that says:
Reform Party National Committee Saturday via mobile "Debate about to start between Andre Barnett, Ed Chlapowski, and Ken Cross. Hopefuls for Reform Party nomination for President."

- Oh. Yeah, I see it now. That's what I get for being rather clumsy with Facebook. --Pi zero (talk) 00:07, 15 August 2012 (UTC)
- When I went to check this again, in reviewing the re-addition to the article, I found that Facebook is atm absolutely refusing to function correctly for me; I can't view more than the most recent item on the Facebook wall (so I had to rely on my memory of what I had seen when I'd looked at it before), and none of the tools on Facebook work correctly for me (e.g., I can't access the menu I'd need to log out of Facebook). I loathe Facebook with a deep, abiding passion. --Pi zero (talk) 02:43, 15 August 2012 (UTC)
