Talk:Possible first case of mad cow disease in Sweden

I translated this article from my own article on the Swedish Wikinews. There is probably a need for some fixes. I wasn't sure how to translate "kalvningsförlamning" so I just did a stupidly litteral translation wich became "calving paralysis".
I'll try to keep an eye on the article to see if it needs my help. You can allways find on my Swedish talk page. Thank you for editing this article.

Also, I translated the quote: "Som min far sa: Om vi ska gå till historien så vore det tråkigt om det skulle ske på det här viset" into "As my father said, if we have to make history it would be a pity to do it this way." But maybe there is a better way of translating it?
The Swedish sentence litterary translates into: "As my father said: If we are going to history (then) it would (be) sad if it would be in this way". Someone more fluent in English might be able to think of how a farmer would put it in English?

I looked at that quote, and I believe you said it as well as it could be said. Having grown up in farming communities, I believe the two ways it would be said are first the way you said it, or alternatively "As my father said, if we are going to make history this is a sad way to do it." - Amgine | talk en.WN 17:45, 1 March 2006 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for copyediting, Amgine. I just noticed I might have misstranslated "Jordbruksverket" into "Swedish Departement of Agriculture". The English Wikipedia calls it Swedish National Board of Agriculture.
