Talk:Passenger airplane crashes in Siberia

Check the numbers

edit

The numbers don't add up quite right for this article. It says "150 are feared dead", but it also says "There were 192 passengers and 8 crew onboard the aircraft. So far, 68 passengers have emerged injured and 124 bodies have been recovered." 68 plus 124 is 192 plus 8 crew is an even 200, so if there truly are possibly 150 people dead, the total number of passengers should be re-checked. -Robby Prather

Not "the breaks"

edit

Aircrafts don't use wheelbrakes on landing. They use flaps and reversed engines. Also, the RWY is more than 3000m long. It is not credible that "break failure" is the cause.
