Talk:Panic-buying as petrol protests sweep Britain

Original reporting notes: Brits get out there and witness the panic! And add your notes here:

  • My eyewitness did indeed see someone fill up an extra tank as well as a great big car. And my mum, not panic buying at all had to wait ages just to get her normal petrol, had to wait ages. I love it when this happens, the Brits may queue nicely for their petrol but watch 'em fight each other when it gets low and they look like they might have to walk somewhere. Heh. I get the train :) ClareWhite 08:15, 14 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

  • Travelled from Southampton to Salisbury today, and saw queues at most petrol stations. Two of them were coned off, empty - an unusual site during rush hour.
