Talk:OhmyNews forum discusses experiences in citizen journalism

As noted in the previous story, I was at the event. I apologize for this late report; I lost my notes and had to piece together as much as I could from memory, transcripts, and video files I recorded at the conference. (The video files are not particularly interesting, but if anyone is interested, I can upload them as MPEG.)

As for the photos, I know it looks a bit ridiculous at the moment, but I'm sort of fond of the towering housewife. Feel free to change it in any way you see fit.--Eloquence 30 June 2005 10:41 (UTC)

I've cropped two of the images a bit (yay, External Editor!), but the arrangement is of course debatable. If an image looks strangely compressed for you, make sure that your cache is empty.--Eloquence 30 June 2005 11:30 (UTC)

Great work!

Great article Eloquence; it's great to be informed of the results of conferences like these that pertain to the progress of citizen journalism. I was particularly amazed by the last image...reminds me of the Global Frequency pilot. - McCart42 (talk) July 1, 2005 03:28 (UTC)
