Talk:Officials say crashed Ethiopian plane didn't follow suggested tower directions

'Failed' makes it sound like Wikinews is of the opinion the pilot should have complied and that the aircraft was actually in a state fit to perform the moves. Nobody knows the details yet. Also, a more minor point, can we find a way of addressing the fact that the man is wrong to talk of a singular black box; combined cockpit voice and flight data recorders are rare and the two are almost always seperate. I renamed the article, but now it sounds kinda wordy. Wasn't sure how to shorten it. As far as the black box goes, i don't know how we'd go about that. Tempodivalse [talk] 20:10, 26 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
I looked at WP but the issue isn't addressed there. Your best bet is to link to w:Black box (transportation), which broadly hints at this. Blood Red Sandman (Talk) (Contribs) 20:15, 26 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
OK, linked. Sounds reasonable, thanks. Tempodivalse [talk] 20:16, 26 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
