Talk:North Korean official warns U.S. that the DPRK may fire a nuclear missile

Since this entire incident comes from an anonymous source quoted by news services, let us not get too out of hand in extrapolating that they are threatening a nuclear attack. If this is true at all they are most likely threatening a test of a missile mated to a warhead (which I'd be surprised if it worked — they can't seem to get either technology to work well in isolation, and putting them together would just double the difficulties), but in any case extrapolating that the meant it as a military attack, against the U.S. to say the least (the U.S. would be quite a hard target for them to hit), is totally irresponsible journalism. --Fastfission 00:46, 11 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

The official appears to be now somewhat less anonymous: [1] Sjc 09:39, 11 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

The title is missleading. --82.141.55.231 10:06, 11 October 2006 (UTC)Reply
