My use of the AP source, by the way, was not to rewrite, but as a reference. 69.214.22.113 07:39, 13 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Final statement

edit

No last words from the prison officials -- William apparently gave a written "final statement" to Barbara Becnel. As yet, she's not read that statement. I'm going to bed. --Chiacomo (talk) 09:26, 13 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Tookie's Last statement.

edit

If anyone can find out what, if any, last statements that Tookie made before being killed, please post it. Make sure you have a verifiable source. thanks.

Williams had no official last words before the execution. Based on the warden's statement and the statement of witnesses, his last words were probably to the medical personnel in the execution chamber. He supposed did pass a written statement to Barbara Becnel to be read after his death. I've not had a chance to look for it this morning -- last night she was yelling lots and didn't seem to be reading anything from Williams. --Chiacomo (talk) 16:05, 13 December 2005 (UTC)Reply
