Why are we quoting online polls?
editOnline polls have long been shown to be completely invalid statistically, due to extreme selection biases, lack of mechanisms to verify users or limit them to single votes, etc. Thus, I don't see why it's worth having an article mentioning the results of an online poll at all, and especially not one of a group which by its very nature has a tremendous selection bias. It's simply not newsworthy. John Darrow (talk) 20:37, 13 September 2008 (UTC)
- Exactly, I'm not even going to bother turning on the TV or go to Gallup.com to find out poll results. I'll just go to Wikinews! conman33 22:22, 13 September 2008 (UTC)
