Talk:New bird flu outbreaks reported in Europe

"There is 1,000 times less chance of becoming ill from bird flu than there is from tuberculosis," This is misleading and irrelevant, because the point is not that an individual may be infected, but instead that via mutation it may lead to a more massive outbreak. It's not about the current, but instead about what it may lead to in the future.--82.141.54.195 22:40, 5 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

the last human mutation outbreak accrued in 1968–69. How many other hundreds of thousand viruses have the chance mutating every day? "This is misleading and irrelevant" pretty much sums up your argument. Remember kiddies get you flue shots they only cost $30 per person and its winter in the US Remeber while your at it ask about pfizer new wonder drug --Whywhywhy 23:20, 5 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

I was under the impression that ordinary flu shots don't provide protection against bird flu? - Apollyon 14:41, 6 December 2005 (UTC)Reply
